Commander College

More than anyone in your church, commanders hold the key to a successful Awana ministry. That’s why Commander College gives specialized training to help you make your ministry everything God intended!

Commander College 101 is the first of a series of three conferences held across the U.S., designed especially for the commander of the Awana ministry in every church. At CC101 you will gain a clear understanding of your responsibilities and your heart will be encouraged toward effective ministry to children and youth! Commander College 201 will inspire you to examine true excellence in ministry and how it can be achieved. 201 builds on the five leadership roles you discovered in Basic Training and 101. Through personal mentoring, motivation and instruction from Awana President/CEO Jack Eggar, Executive Director of Training Larry Fowler, the Awana Global Training Team and commanders from around the U.S., 201 will challenge you to be the excellent commander God called you to be. [Benefits of Commander College 201] [Dates & Locations]

Commander College 301  is not for the faint-hearted. You will be challenged to evaluate what you have implemented from 101 and 201, things like — how well your directors and leaders share the gospel with clubbers; how well you have built relationships with your children’s or youth pastor; and, how stories using a vision statement have transformed your club and church.  [Benefits of Commander College 301] [Dates & Locations]
