Basic Training
Something for both new and veteran Awana leaders!
Whether you’re getting ready for your first club year or your 60th, the new Awana Basic Training program has something for you. Interactive DVDs, improved role books and a step-by-step run through of a typical club night all highlight this event. Participants will learn all the nuts and bolts of Awana, plus practical tools for discipline, recruiting volunteers, presenting the gospel, and much more.
Not only will you leave Basic Training ready to kick off your Awana Club, but you will also be spiritually renewed. The result is a sense of confidence and excitement about the upcoming club year while also igniting a passion for children’s ministry.
Basic Training is provided free of charge and anyone from your church is welcome to attend. Sessions are typically held in August of each year.
